The main purpose of Oakfield Primary School and Nursery Unit is to provide the best quality of education possible for the children in our care through the effective and efficient delivery of the curriculum.  We, in Oakfield Primary School, aim to provide a caring, supportive, orderly environment where children feel secure and can learn.

We provide a range of educational, social, moral and spiritual experiences appropriate to the age, ability and individual needs of our pupils. We have high expectations and endeavour to provide access to high quality resources and learning strategies.  We aim to promote good relationships between teachers, teachers and pupils, teachers and parents and within the community, recognising differences and developing caring attitudes to others.

We provide opportunities for the inclusion of each individual to attain their maximum potential. We strive to continuously improve every aspect of the school’s work and life.
